Getting your troop composition right is the difference between winning rallies and losing your army.
The Three Attack Fleets
- Timed Attack — A timed attack is a coordinated attack with members in your alliance
- Solo Attack — Solo attack is just your city attacking another city
- Marksmen — ranged, high attack, fragile
The Counter Triangle
Infantry > Marksmen
Marksmen > Lancers
Lancers > Infantry
Knowing what your enemy uses lets you bring a counter-heavy composition.
Recommended Rally Composition
For a mixed/unknown enemy:
| Type | Percentage |
|---|---|
| Infantry | 40% |
| Lancers | 30% |
| Marksmen | 30% |
For a known infantry-heavy enemy, increase Lancers to 50%.
Defence Composition
When defending your base, Infantry-heavy compositions work best because:
- They absorb the most damage
- Protect your Marksmen who deal damage from behind
- Reduce hospital overflow
A solid defence lineup: 50% Infantry / 30% Marksmen / 20% Lancers
Higher Tiers Always Win
Troop tier matters more than quantity at high levels. 100k T8 troops will generally beat 300k T5 troops. Always push for the highest tier you can train efficiently before going wide.
Wounded vs Dead
Troops become wounded (recoverable) only if your hospital capacity covers them. Overflow capacity means dead troops — lost permanently. Keep your hospital large and always have doctors queued.
